14mm Front Differential Bushing Upgrade - E36

High-horsepower BMWs put additional stress on the differential mounts, especially during hard launches, clutch kicks, and aggressive acceleration. On E36 drift cars, the factory front differential mounting bolt is a common failure point. Repeated shock loads can bend or break the bolt, particularly when worn differential bushings allow excessive movement.

Our 14mm Front Differential Bolt Upgrade addresses this weak point by replacing the smaller factory bolt with a larger M14 bolt. Combined with our rigid UHMW front differential bushing, the upgrade reduces differential movement and provides a stronger mounting connection under load.

The kit uses an OEM BMW grade 10.9 mounting bolt and our precision-machined UHMW bushing. The stiffer bushing limits unwanted differential movement during acceleration, clutch kicks, and sudden load changes.

Choose the front bushing and 14mm bolt upgrade on its own, or the complete differential bushing kit, which includes two additional rear differential ear bushings to replace all three differential mounting bushings.

Installation Note

The 14mm upgrade requires drilling and tapping the front differential mounting hole to M14x1.5. This is not a direct bolt-on replacement. Proper machining is required before installation.
