The CRT Aero Front Lip gives the E9X M3's front fascia a lower, more aggressive chin line. Built from genuine pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber, it adds visual weight to the front end without adding actual weight to the car. On a platform that BMW engineered to be driven, the CRT lip makes the intent visible from the outside.
Pre-preg carbon means the resin is saturated into the fiber before the mold closes. The autoclave applies uniform heat and pressure throughout the cure, eliminating the air pockets and resin voids common in wet layups. The result is a structurally consistent part with a tight, even weave surface.
