These AutoTecknic Replacement Dry Carbon Mirror Covers are built in pre-preg dry carbon fiber: formed in a mold, autoclave-cured under vacuum, and finished with a 2x2 twill weave. At 110 grams per side, they are significantly lighter than the OEM plastic originals with no change in fitment or mounting behavior.
These are direct OEM replacement covers. They use the same mounting clips as the factory parts and install without modification. Available in left-hand drive and right-hand drive configurations for both M5 and M5 Competition.

Installation Notes
Plug-and-play replacement using the OEM clip system. No drilling or adhesive required.
Remove the OEM mirror cover by carefully unclipping it from the mirror housing.
Align the dry carbon cover with the mounting clip positions and press firmly into place.
Confirm the cover is fully seated and flush with the mirror housing on both sides.
